Response DIY: Darken Lips

We are all born with lips that range from light pink to red. They are a feature of the body that is an asset and stands out. Unfortunately, as we grow up we indulge in activities that deplete our natural beauty. Certain cosmetic, smoking, chewing tobacco and chemotherapy tend to change the color pigments in our lips. Sometimes it may also be hereditary and if this is the case then there is no reversal. However if environmental factors and lifestyle are affecting the color of your lips then there are a few home remedies that will help you out

One of my non-blogger follower emailed me and asked for some help, because her lips has become darken or some discoloration. So as I researched about it, some causes of lips discoloration:

::.Drinking tea
::.Smoking
::.Sun Exposure
::.Using expired lipsticks

Home Remedies:

-An obvious thing that you can do is to stop smoking or chewing tobacco if you indulge in these activities. This acts as prevention for further discoloration as well as a treatment for already darkened lips.

-Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily so that you flush out all the bad toxins from your body and increase the circulation of your blood.

-When exposing your skin to the sun; slather on a good amount of sunscreen lotion or cream.

-Apply a small amount of the cream of the milk on your lips every night and keep it for a few minutes before washing it off. The lactic acid in the milk reacts with your skin to give you soft, supple and lighter lips.

-Clarified butter also helps to clear dark pigments on your lips and moisturizes it at the same time.

-Never wear lipstick from unheard-of brands

- Apply a mixture of almond oil and lemon juice to your lips at night

-
wear lip balm or lipstick with sunblock.

Lime acts as a bleaching agent that helps to revive the natural color of your lips.

use as moisturizer

Godiva Licowhite lipgloss
This is very effective for lightening your lips,
somehow it will really take time before the effects show.

note: sorry guys my blog's html sucks! gonna fix this later :C
